I've lived in NYC for over 13 years. I've had this plant the entire time. It's crazy. It doesn't grow larger, it doesn't really die and I swear to you it's real. What amazed me the most was when this plant still lived after being locked in the dark basement storage in my building when my apartment flooded and I didn't get to live at home for 7 months. It's truly the hero of the city and deserved to be immortalized.
